The Color Key
As an artist and a psychic, I have learned how to interpret the energy of people through color. While painting portraits and choosing the surrounding background colors in relation to the subject, I made a connection between the hues that I saw emanating from the people to their aptitudes. For over 25 years I have been using this technique of deciphering peoples energies in psychic reading sessions. The colors and hues a person emits represent their personality, their desires and the many aptitudes that they possess.
We are energy. This energy is represented through light. The spectrum of light presents the colors purple, indigo, blue, yellow, orange and red. White, devoid of any tint, and black, which is the absence of color, are also included in the spectrum of energies. I include gold and silver as well. There are also combinations of colors in this spectrum of light which create other hues. This diversity of color represents the many interests and aptitudes of an individual.
There is a dominant color in a person’s energy which indicates their strongest aptitude. If they wear it, the color glows and looks fantastic on them. People surround themselves in colors everyday by what they wear, the colors they choose for their homes, the car they drive, the makeup they wear, etc. When a person is wearing a color that they do not emit, it will not blend with their true energies and therefore the color will not look good on them. They have chosen the color for another reason. For example, the color red means rescue. A person will start to wear red when they are in a crisis and are in need of help. An individual who actually emits the color red is a person who is rescue oriented. The person who gravitates to the color red and begins to wear it is in need of help. They will wear this color to attract the person who has the red energy.
Some people emit many colors. This means that they possess a variety of aptitudes. A “colorful person”is truly what the saying implies. However, in some cases the person who emits many colors signifies that they have a lot of interests but, unfortunately, unable to focus on any. They are constantly distracted.
A person’s energy will change through a crisis or a decided change of direction in their life, they will find that they are not drawn to certain colors any longer and they begin to choose other colors. They are not emanating these certain energies anylonger, and therefore the colors are not surrounding them. They have changed what they are and what they want. Some people are forced into a change: for example, providing primary care for a family member, such as mother, father or child. Eventually, their energy may switch to a certain shade of green. Particular hues of green are healing and this change in color indicates that they are now emitting the energy of a caregiver and healer.
When you start to look for color in connection with people, you will start to ascertain what a person is like by observing their choice of colors. I have provided meanings for several colors in the contents of this guide. Because there is such a variety of colors for a person to choose from, they may choose a slightly different hue than I have described, but the meaning will still remain similar to the color that you will see in this guide.
Some individuals who are colorblind may exhibit louder vocal expressions than those who are not. I believe this behavior serves as a compensation for their inability to perceive the natural energies and colors of others.
My intention in the writing of this guide is to enlighten you regarding the colors we all choose in life for ourselves and how important color is as a form of communication. I call myself “Huelistic,” which means “The ability to see an individual’s energy/color and correlate a person’s aptitudes according to the various hues that they are emanating.”
It is my belief that the spectrum of light is channeled through our innermost energy, our soul, weaving us into the ultimate and endless energy, the tapestry of our existence.
